MAGIC CARPET

Located just in front of the resort, try the brand new moving walkway that takes adult beginner skiers to the top of the training slope. Facilitated by our Club Med instructors, enjoy an exciting and safe experience with the Magic Carpet where first-time skiers can make rapid progress.

Indoor Rock Climbing with Augmented Reality

Get ready to experience the interactive rock climbing platform, the first of its kind in Club Med. Available for guests 12 years old and above as part of our all-inclusive package, this active-play technology enables 2 guests to play against each other at any one time. Follow the bouldering routes projected on the wall, and be introduced to a world of fun.

Ski Simulators

(available from 30 November 2018)

If you are new to winter mountain sports, then this activity is perfect for you. Designed to simulate movements, the virtual ski experience is set to improve your skills in no time. Suitable from aged 10 and above, choose from a variety of slopes and feel the adrenaline up-close.

Hokkaido Soba Making Class

(available from 30 November 2018)

Get an authentic taste of Hokkaido, and slurp on fresh soba noodles prepared by you and your family. Follow an easy step-by-step demonstration by our Chef, and learn the Japanese way on how this traditional dish is enjoyed. Slots are limited to 10 persons, and kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Temari Sushi Cooking Class

(available from 30 November 2018)

Take your Hokkaido experience to another level, and participate in the making of Temari Sushi. You can opt to have your decorative treats on the spot, or have them served during dinner. Bring the skill back home, and reserve your spot early.

Arts & Crafts

Get creative and show off your artistic side through Japanese culture. Try Painting, one of the oldest and refined Japanese visual art or Origami, the art of paper folding or Calligraphy, a form of artistic writing. In winter, the slopes of Mount Sahoro are enveloped in a soft blanket of snow, bringing joy to every family. At Petit Club Med, 2 and 3 year olds discover all the delights the wintery mountains have to offer. At Mini Club Med, children from 4 to 10 gain confidence on the slopes. They'll have stars in their eyes when the medals are handed out. The teenagers at Junior Club Med have action-packed days, with skiing or snowboarding, socialising and nurturing their creativity. Feel on top of the world, together.

Wellness activities

The Daichi

Savour a variety of delicacies from our international buffet. With an emphasis on Asian flavours, sample from a selection of fresh-caught sashimi, sushi, and chirashi prepared by skilled Japanese Chefs who use traditional methods. You can also watch as energised live cooking stations showcase Chefs preparing each dish, including handmade soba, ramen, and udon noodles.

This recently expanded restaurant takes its inspiration from mountain views and the forms and shapes of origami, representing longevity and good luck. Wrapped in glass with nature in every direction, dining here is an immersive Hokkaido winter experience.

For added convenience, a Baby Corner will offer sweet and savoury baby foods, equipment to prepare babies' meals, and high chairs or booster cushions. Spare pushchairs are also available upon request.


Mina Mina

Your family will love this must-try dining experience. Our Mina Mina specialty restaurant prepares a traditional nabemono, or nabe, soup served in a heated pot right at the table. Choose from your favourite ingredients including meat, crab plate, seafood plate, and vegetables. Then, just add or dip one by one to customise your meal.

The Wakka

Wakka bar is for winding down. Take in in wintery mountain views through expansive bay windows while enjoying a bite to eat and a drink at our cosy bar. Open all day and centrally located, Wakka is a prime place to warm up over cocktails, gather to celebrate the day’s successes after our G.O show, or just reconnect as a family. In the evenings, enjoy sake, whisky, or sip a hot chocolate or tea to toast to your Hokkaido travels together.
